PET SITTING SERVICES

How our Service Works

When you call Free Spirit Pet Care Services, we arrange for a free visit to your home to:

Meet you and your loving pets
Get detailed information about caring for your pets and your home
Get a veterinary release signature
Complete a service agreement
Pick up a door key
During this visit you decide how often you want the sitter to visit, and what services you want performed.

Each visit to your home includes:

Providing love and care when you’re not there
Fresh food and water
Brushing, combing, and providing playtime
Give medications, vitamins, or other special care
Arrange for medical treatment in case of illness
Scoop the litter box and clean up all accidents

At the Clients Request:

Collect mail
Bring in newspapers
Turning on / off lights
Opening / closing drapery
Watering a few plants

Hours of Service

Please Note: We are unable to honor specific time request for any visit.

Dogs:

AM visits will be between 7 am and 10 am.

PM visits will be between 7 pm and 10 pm.

Please Note: Dog visits will always be approximately 12 hours apart for clients scheduling 2 visits per day.

Cats/Parrots/Horses/Other Pets:

Cats will be visited at approximately the same time each day, sometime between 7 AM and 10 PM depending on my schedule, location of other jobs, and weather conditions.

To Arrange for Service:

Please contact us as far in advance as possible using our Contact Us Form and supply as much information as possible regarding your pets sitting needs. We suggest at least 2 week's notice but it is possible we may be able to accommodate last minute requests for service. You should note however that we book up fast during busy times. I will be happy to assist you in finding another local pet sitter if I am unable to help you.

* Cage/Habitat/Litter Box Cleaning Fee of $10 each.

There is a holiday surcharge fee of $10 per day on the following days:

New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Additional Pet Services Offered

Puppy Love

Our puppy program was created to assist the socialization process as your new puppy matures into a full grown mature adult dog.

The initial months of your puppy's life are extremely important in shaping him/her to be a mature adult canine. The requires proper socialization, (i.e positive exposure to new sounds, smells/images, etc).

Puppies require so much that a typical work day of 9-12 hours is way too long for them both physically and mentally. We suggest 1-2 visits per day. During our visit we will take your puppy out of its enclosed area (crate/gate), clean up any messes, provide food and water and provide them with adequate socialization and play.

A socialized dog will lead a more happy, fulfilling life easily adjusting to new situations and experiences.

Unsocialized dogs become shy and more fearful of anything it was not exposed to as a puppy. We want to make sure your puppy grows up into a friendly, happy mature adult dog.

Hotel Sitting - Minimum of 2 hrs, $30/hr
We can spend time in the room with your pet while you are out at a show, dinner or sports game. Please call us before you arrive as we cannot book last minute requests for this service.

Pick-up/drop-off of house keys - $5

Emergency key lockout - $15

If you lock yourself out we can come by to let you in using your house key that we have on file for you.

Litter Box Change - $10
We will wash and dry your cats litter box and replace the clay/crystals.

Cage/Habitat Cleaning - $10

We will clean your Parrots Cage or other small pet Habitat during a scheduled pet visitation.

Dog/Cat Bath - $10

We will bath your cat or dog during a scheduled pet visitation.

Play Date - $25/hr
Stuck at work? Arrange for a play date with one of our staff members for your pet (1hr minimum).

Parrot Nail/Wing Clipping - $10

Pet Taxi - $30 per trip

We will pick up your pet and drive them to their Vet/Grooming Appointment; Ex's Visitations; Play Dates etc.

Supply Shopping - $20 plus cost of supplies

Running low on your pet's supplies? Call us with your shopping list and we will do the shopping and delivery for you!
